Topic Research

Hello, After more brain storming about my project I decided that I would like to write it about Merlin. After searching through the King Arthur unit and looking at the tag Theme:Merlin, I have found 4 stories that I think might work well for the project  The Welsh Fairy Book: The Red Dragon ,  King Arthur: The Passing of Merlin , and  Britomart: The Cave of the Magician Merlin . I found there there are even more story options at in the  Freebookapalooza . Last week I talked about writing the Arthur stories from Merlin's perspective, but I think I would enjoy taking the stories already about Merlin and stringing them together into a more novel-esque fashion. For a picture I found the one you see to the left of Merlin and Vivien. It is a picture of a painting by Edward Burne-Jones, and it goes along with the story "The Passing of Merlin." It would be a good photograph to use with that story. Picture : Edward Burne-Jones [Public domain], via Wikimedia C...

Topic Brainstorm

So that is how I found my four topics, and now to tell you a little bit about each of them and my ideas. Witches across cultures:  Witches appear in many cultures across time and have been a reading interest of mine since I was a little kind. A useful link might be this one from the History Channel , although it will likely not have much that isn't Eu...
